So what's the point of this thread? I think it's dual trapping or something like this.
If you do a thread in Farming section, it should be about either build you want to share, or a question about a build. If you cut out some parts, it means you want to act like a little kid shouting ,,haha I know how to do something and you don't know how to!!!''.

Dual trapping is my guess.... one going regular echo dust trap, the other going full BM trapper and max WS with a lowish expertise and using OoB to gain energy....

Good question. If you find something cool and you come to a forum to show it off, you should show everything. Personally, I'd be stoked if I came upon a cool build that could help others out and give them a chance to experience what you have. That's how the game progresses, eventually everyone will be doing what you've done/shown, a-net will nerf if need be, and others will come up with better, more clever ways of doing the same thing...
Just my two cents, grats by the way if you're not trapping...looking forward to you manning up with the build(s)...

Took lots of time,
lots of cash, a HUGE ammount of frustration, but now its done.
I said i would post some builds.
Edit: Added Builds and a short guide.
I was exprimenting with a build that was broaght to my attention, here on the forums.
Link: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10219335
I evolved this into a dual ranger build, that can take out, aaxte, grasps and smites.
Lets start with the tank:
R/MO
Skills:
Greater Conflaguration [Elite]
Storm Chaser
Mental Block (Azura skill)
Vigorous Spirit
Rebirth
Watchful Spirit
Mending
Protective bond
Attributes:
12+4 Wilderness Survival
9 Protection Prayers
9 Healing Prayers
5 superior runes to bring your hp down to 105 and a -50 cesta to bring it further down to 55hp.
The Famine Ranger:
R/ME
Famine [Elite]
Sympathetic Visage
Ancestors Visage
Arcane Mimicry
Natural Stride
Rebirth signet
-Free Slot-
-Free Slot-
Atributes:
12+4 Wilderness Survival
12 Illusion
Guide:
Now, on entering UW the tank casts all 3 bonds on the Famine ranger, and Vigorous Spirit.
The Famine should take a runningtrip, stairs to stairs, up on the platoe where the Aaxtes are. This to pop the nightmares, who will strip him and die. Remember to stay close to the edge in case The tank has to rebirth you. Repeat until every nightmares are dead.
Now the Tank should cast the bonds on himself. And plant GC on the opposite side of where you intend to tank the first Aaxtes. Famineranger should stay out of agroe until the tank get full agroe.
While Tanking.
The only thing the tank have to remember is to re-apply StormChaser asap its recharged.
Prot bond steals 4 energy when triggered, and Storm Chaser returnes 5 when triggred, this aslong as you are inside the spirit ranger of CG.
In other words: Tank without Stormchaser = dead.
If the mobs are huge, i have broaght with me Mental Block, With Gives you 50% chance to block, and is reapplied everytime you take a hit. Vigorous Spirit is for the little extra heal, IF ever needed.
The Famine rangers job is to spam AV/SV once every 10 seconds on the tank, and keeping famine up in all times. If killing the enemies takes longer then expected, CG might run out. To counter that the FamineRanger uses Arcane Mimicry on the Tank, and "borrows" hes Elite skill, wich is CG. Plant it.
With this build you can tank huge mobs. Interups are no problem, due to the fact that there is nothing to interupt. Enchantment Strips are tho, aswell as stance removers and massive degen. But everything can be countered.
Carefull planing is needed.
Now for The Ranger Solo Build.
Its designed to Kill Grasps and Smites. Any encounters with aaxtes are not to be recommended.
The Build:
Troll Unguent
Ancestors Visage
Sympathetic Visage
Famine [Elite]
Mental Block (Azura skill)
Natural Stride
Channeling
Physical Resistence
Attributes:
11+4 Willderness surwival
12 Illusion
5 inspiration
3+1 expertise
Armor and Equipment:
What you need is HP and Energy or heeps of armor and energy.
I used:
Radiant Mask of sup. WS.
Radiant armor of vitae/vigor
20% longer enchant staff with 20 energy
A set of Stalwart armor of attunement can do the trick to, havnt tested it out yet.
Or Maybe a combo of those.
Guide:
First thing you do on entering UW is to take the quest Clearing the Chamber, then head back to the platform in the middle, where you spawn.
The famine Spirit should be planted behinde the stairs on you right hand side, when facing the spirit that gives you the quest.
When Aggroing:
The grasps and aaxtes are usually standing in the same place, so aggroing is one of the most critical parts of the run.
this is what you are supposed to do:
Standing on the stairs, grasps and and aaxtes are just outside you aggro-bubble.
Cast visage, aggro, take a 180 degree turn, and use natural stride.
Grasps should be right on your heels now and aaxtes should been left behind.
Run past The ghost named Renault and into the corner. This is where you tank them.
Activate physical resistence.
Tanking:
Keep one Visage up at all times.
Keep Phy. Resistance up all times.
Keep Troll up all times.
Use channeling only once before you cast the 3rd Visage.
If you worried that the grasps will outdamage you, use Mental Block.
You will get energy problems, due its a pretty energy-expencive build, so a staff with 20% longer enchants and 20 energy is highly recommended.
You should tank nomore then 4 enemies at once.
IF you do everything right you shouldnt have big problems killing the grasps.
But it can happen that they find your Famine spirit and destroy it.
DONT PANIC.
Just hold aggro and plant another one on the spot you are tanking. Usually they dont destroy this spirit.
Reapet until you have killed all grasps.
Plant Famine as far away from you tanking spot as you can. Just dont plant it so aaxtes stumble uppon it.
Once the grasps are dead you get a quest complete, and this opens the doors so you can run to the smites.
I wont say much about the run. Just keep Trolls up, and use Natural Stride.
When you get close to the "tunnel" where you enter the area where the smites are, you will probably see 2 aaxtes standing there, near the entrence. Usually they stay behind if you are passing them with NS on. It have happent that they dont, and a trick is to run (without using NS) with them right on your tale until you aggro the first group of smites, THEN use NS and run past the mob of smites and into the opening. Hopefully you break aggro of both smites and aaxtes.
Killing The Smites:
Plant Famine an aggro-bubble and a half away from the group you intend to take out.
The tanking is the same as with the grasps. but it seems like the smites are hitting harder somehow. Could be the firedmg from Zealots Fire when they use skills.
just keep visages, troll and Phy.resistance up at all times.
I think i covered it all now. Feels so anyways.. but if you have any questions feel free to ask, here on the forum, or even in game.

That R/Me SV/AV build was made over a year ago. Pretty sure you can still find the thread of it.
The R/Mo tank concept aswell was made up quite some time ago.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo7wAflo_Jc
But thats not your fault but the guy who made that R/Mo tank thread.
Sorry to be abit of a party pooper and all....
Using it for Duo UW I congratulate you on as its not been tried or been botherd to be taken that far. Duo partner is well thought up aswell good job. I like the use of Arcane Mimicry.
About popping the Nightmares, I would just run in with a sprint skill then run out to make them spawn. Pretty much then they can be taken out without luring Aatxe's, I just know this from soloing (solo Mo/W use the concept)
Good job on the guides.

Just to let you know I came up with the concept for my 55 ranger build well before factions came out. Just never really took the time to do anything with it until I was really bored and drunk one night about 2 and a half weeks ago. I'm also pretty sure someone probably had the idea well before that, but as far as i know I am the first one to post it on THESE forums.
Oh and kudos to the OP for taking my build and doing something cool with it. Care to share some of that prize money?

Normally superior yes, however if you look a the math behind the 55 HP ranger it DOES have superior tanking potential because it uses protective bond. However 55 HP rangers are not as effective at it because they can not carry skills like spell breaker.
